Frequently Asked Questions

About Our Services

Question Answer
Are you affiliated with Tesla? No, we are an Independent Tesla specialist. This means we are not affiliated with or endorsed by Tesla. However, we use industry-approved tools, diagnostic software, and genuine or OEM-quality parts to ensure your Tesla receives expert care.
What Tesla models do you work on? We service all Tesla models, including Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y, and Roadster (first generation). We can handle everything from routine maintenance to complex electrical and drivetrain diagnostics.
Can you access Tesla’s diagnostic systems? Yes. We use ToolBox 3.0 that allows us to read Tesla-specific data, perform software resets, and diagnose system faults safely and accurately.

Maintenance & Repairs

Question Answer
How often should I service my Tesla? Tesla recommends servicing every 12 months or 12,500 miles, whichever comes first. However, electric vehicles like Tesla require less maintenance than traditional cars.
What services do you offer? We offer comprehensive services including tire rotations, brake inspections, suspension work, air conditioning maintenance, high voltage diagnostics, and more. We perform routine servicing and inspections, brake and suspension work, air suspension diagnostics and repairs, low voltage and charging system diagnostics, HVAC and cooling system repairs, tyre fitting and wheel alignment, and software/firmware updates where applicable.
Are your technicians certified? Yes, our technicians are IMI Level 3 & 4 qualified and trained to the highest standards with access to Tesla’s latest repair instructions.
Do you use genuine Tesla parts? We offer both genuine Tesla parts and OEM-equivalent alternatives, depending on availability and your preference. All parts are sourced from trusted suppliers and come with warranty coverage.
Will using an independent specialist void my Tesla warranty? No. Under consumer protection laws (such as the Block Exemption Regulation in the UK/EU), having your Tesla serviced or repaired by an independent specialist does not void the manufacturer’s warranty, provided the correct parts and procedures are used.
What is included in your Health Check Service? Our Health Check service is a thorough inspection of the brakes, suspension, and steering components as well as a fault memory check. You will then be provided with a written report detailing any required works.

Question Answer
Do you carry genuine Tesla parts? Yes, we have access to genuine OEM parts through the Tesla EPC and keep a large selection in stock for same-day repairs.
Can I buy parts without service? Absolutely, we sell parts to both customers and other repair facilities.
What parts do you stock? We stock a wide range of parts including tires, brakes, suspension components, body panels, and high-voltage components.

Charging & Battery

Question Answer
Can you repair or replace Tesla batteries? Unfortunately, we are currently unable to assist with high voltage repairs. We can however make some recommendations if these are required, so please contact us if you have specific requirements.

Software & Updates

Question Answer
Can you update my Tesla’s software? Some updates can only be performed by Tesla directly (via over-the-air). However, we can perform firmware resets, calibration updates, and software reprogramming where permitted.
